OM SERIES - HARD OXIDISED
WAXES
OM Oxidised Waxes are derived from the controlled Oxidation
of refined Microcrystalline Waxes. The products are characterised
by their pale colour, hardness and functional properties.
FOUR GRADES ARE CURRENTLY
AVAILABLE :-
OM-10 : Low acid no, hard wax designed as
an intermediate for colloidal emulsions. This grade is chemically
and physically comparable to the natural Waxes e.g., Carnauba,
Candelilla and Esparto.
OM-28 : Intermediate acid no. hard wax suitable
for use in Polish formulation. The product is chemically and
physically comparable to Bees Wax.
OM-40 : Medium acid no. hard wax designed
for use as an intermediate for the manufacture of thixotropic
soaps and polishes.
OM-72-40 : High melt point Oxidised Microcrystalline
wax having exceptional cohesive strength and film forming
properties.
