Petrolatum -116
P-116 is a low melt point Petrolatum used in applications
where a self healing film is required at low Temperatures.It
is particularly suitable for use in advanced coating formulations
requiring a non volatile semi fluid layer below a hard secondary
applied film.
The product is also used as a temporary metal preservative
coating also having lubricity sufficient for initial start
up or commissioning of assembled parts.
P-116 is used as a component in metal preservative formulations
to provide the following functions :-
