HYPAX SD 80
Hypax SD 80 is a pale coloured Oxidised Wax Sodium Soap dispersion
in water. The product is supplied as a solid.
When applied from the gelled phase to metal surfaces by atomised
spray , the product displays a dry continuous film having
sag resistance and fast drying properties.

Preparation for dilution with water
- Charge SD 80 to blending vessel, heat to 80 °C, commence
mixing
- Add required quantity of hot water preheated to min.70°C
- Stir for 30 mins. maintaining Temperature within the
range 70-80°C
- Discharge into required packaging
APPLICATIONS
- Film former / dispersant for Calcium Carbonate in the
manufacture of water borne dry film preservative coatings.
- Heavy duty stamping, forging and pressing lubricants.
